About Chris Brown
Expertise
I have extensive knowledge on comic books published from 1897 through 1975. My knowledge goes beyond superheroes to include early strip reprints from 1897-1930 or so, science fiction, horror comics of the 50s and 70s, love, crime, satire and other genres. I can provide advice on buying or selling comics as well as answering general queries.

Experience
I am a longtime collector and occasional seller of older comics.

Comic books (Comics) - X-men comics 1982-85

Expert: Chris Brown - 10/28/2009

Question
I have approximately 35 issues of X-men #106-169.  All are in very good to excellent shape.  Also included are Special Edition and King Size Annual #5.  I would like to know the estimated value, a ballpark amount.  I can send you a list of the exact issues.  Thank you David

Answer
Hi David

You would really need to send me the issue numbers for me to give you any reasonable estimate of their value.  Earlier issues in that range are going to be worth quite a bit more than later issues.  Condition is also going to be quite important.  A comic in excellent condition, if that means like new, is going to be worth 4 or 5 times what a comic in very good condition is worth.

Chris
