About Chris Brown
Expertise
I have extensive knowledge on comic books published from 1897 through 1975. My knowledge goes beyond superheroes to include early strip reprints from 1897-1930 or so, science fiction, horror comics of the 50s and 70s, love, crime, satire and other genres. I can provide advice on buying or selling comics as well as answering general queries.

Comic books (Comics) - archie and jug head

Expert: Chris Brown - 10/6/2009

Question
I have some old archie and jug head comics I think from the 70s or older I was trying to get a rough idea on what they might go for in todays market and how u think I might b e able to sell them.

Answer
Hi Phil

I would not expect very much interest in Archie or Jughead comics from the 70s.  (60s issues might do a little better, but not much.)  If they are in like new, Near Mint, condition, you might get some interest.  Otherwise, unless they are special issues like early appearances of Sabrina I would think you'd be doing well to get .25 or .50 cents each for them.

I think your best bet is to sell on eBay.  Probably as one big lot unless there's something worth singling out.

Good luck!

Chris
