Question

Front page of french S
I have 36 French text Spiderman comic books and the title is "Chaos a Calgary". I have scanned the front page for you.  My question is whether there is value to these books.  I have no idea when they were published.  The back page has a Health and Welfare Canada text  on the bottom. Maybe they were published for French schools as handouts?

I also have a 1967 May #48 edition of "The wings of the Vulture".  I think it is rated in between good and fine as the cover has a folded corner on the top right and the bottom right corner has started to roll up.  The inside is yellowed and some pages have begun to show small rips at the bottom.  Is there a market for this edition and where should I post it.  I am not a collector and am just cleaning out the house.
Thanks Paul

Answer
To get the value of comic books, you can download the Comic Book Price Guide by Robert Overstreet (but its not cheap).  Here's the link:

Also, here is a price guide that will give you a better idea, though I would trust the Overstreet Price Guide more:

For selling, put the issues up on eBay and I'm sure someone will be interested... your alternative is to bring it into a comic book store or two and have them make you an offer.

Hope that helps,

Expertise

As a hardcore X-Men fan, I can answer any question about Marvel's Mighty Mutants. I can also answer questions about the spin-off groups (X-Factor, New Mutants/X-Force, Excalibur, Generation X, New X-Men, and the other many incarnations). I specialize in the X-universe but I can answer a lot of Marvel questions as well. Make Mine Marvel. In addition to the comics, I can answer questions about the X-Men cartoons (TAS from the 90s and Evolution) as well as the X-Men feature films. I don't have any expertise or knowledge of the DC Universe.

Experience

I have the entire run of UNCANNY X-MEN (from the first issue in September 1963) up to today. I also have a huge portion of (adjectiveless) X-Men (the second series), X-Factor (volumes 1 and 2), X-Force, Excalibur (volume 1, some of volume 2, some of New Excalibur); Generation X; and New X-Men. I have very few issues of New Mutants but I am proficient in my New Mutants knowledge.
