i rember a comic that was about a plane tht crashed on to a planet and the survivours (humans) were been pursed by monstrs that would eat them . I think this planet had a lack of water or water played abig role.i was living in new zealand in late 70s , do you know what it was called ,my mum wouldnt let me get the last few espoides it has drivven me nuts all this time

This doesn't ring any bell for me from the details you provide.  Do you believe it was an American comic?  I would not be familiar with it if it was made in some country other than the U.S.  If it was a U.S. comic, do you have any idea who the publisher was?  How many issues it ran?  Whether it was in its own title or one series appearing in a magazine with different stories (like Heavy Metal, or the original golden age comics like Action Comics for that matter)?
