hello there, i have a question.  I have a 1965 marvel/pop art productions first
issue #14 X Men comic book, it is in fair condition, a few cracks and small
tears on cover/backing cover. I was just wondering if you or someone you
knew may be able to tell me what value it had as i haven't been able to find a
price for it as of yet.

Check out this link, its to a database online that can give you excellent estimates of value.  It sounds like the issue you have is in fair to good condition so the value is probably somewhere in the middle of those two categories.

X-Men is a bit of a trick because there have been so many one shot issues and different series titles published, but if the issue you have is from 1965 then it has to be the one displayed in the link.
