Comic books (Comics)/Valuation

Question
Hi Mark,

I have a bunch of old comics and baseball cards that I would like to somehow valuate.
Are there any websites where you can look up the current market value for old comics and baseball cards?

Thanks,

Steven

Answer
Hi Steven,

For comic books, I would suggest using comicspriceguide.com.  The site can be used for free to look up value information (you just have to register with the site).  The site is pretty thorough as far as the number of titles they have indexed, and I have never had any problems with finding information on comics that I have.

Sorry to say that I'm not as familiar with baseball cards.  I do know that Beckett has an online price guide (http://beta.beckett.com/) for sports cards.  I don't know much about it though other than they do charge a fee for accessing their online price guide.

Hope this helps.  Let me know if you have any additional questions.

- Mark
