Hi Chris  my name is Alejandro my question is that my friend a while back gave me some Spiderman comic books which she won and claimed at that time they were worth 2000.00 dollars she owed me money any way they are Spiderman unlimited maximum carnage it says in the front it's the fabulous first issue all the way to the conclusion i don't know if it helps but it also says it's a direct edition it also says in the bottom corner iron man 1963 1993 the whole collection is in mint condition and the package has never been open one more thing it is signed autographed by both Tom and i think it's Don or Ron the ones that made the comics i would really appreciate it    thank you.

Answer
Hi Alejandro

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.  Spiderman Unlimited Maximum Carnage is a recently published comic that is readily available and not in high demand.  A perfect comic is graded as 10.0.  A copy of this comic graded at 9.6, very nearly perfect, was recently offered for sale on eBay for $30 but nobody wanted it.

If your comic does grade at 10.0, there would be some premium for that grade.  It would need to be absolutely perfect and flawless in every way.

There is also some value to the autographs if they are original and authentic.  All these copies do have preprinted signatures in a white box above the Iron Man pic in the lower left.  Tom and Ron would be Tom DeFalco and Ron Lim, writer and artist of the first story. Their signatures would add some value, but it would really be up to a buyer how much extra to pay.  I don't think you'll find anyone who will pay $2000 for their signatures though.
