QuestionQUESTION: I have several comincs from the 80's and 90's, including #15 (Death Be Not Proud), #18 (Annnual-Atlantis Attacks), #58 "The Day the Earth Moved) and #315 (While a Universe Trembles). I also have the King-Size Special, #1 from 1967. All are in good used condition-no missing pages, creases or tears.Do any of them have value?
ANSWER: Hi Linda
Comics from the 80s and 90s generally don't have very much value, as they are easy to come by for anyone looking for them. The comics you list all have a price guide value in the $3 to $4 range if in perfect condition.
The King-Size Special #1 is more valuable. It ranges from $10 in worn but complete and solid condition to $150 in newsstand new condition. It's hard for me to value it between these two extremes without actually seeing it or getting a more detailed description of its flaws.
And these are retail prices. If you sold it to a store or on eBay, you would probably get 30 to 60% of the listed price on the Special #1, while you would be fortunate to get $1 each for the newer issues.
Feel free to follow up if you want to provide a description of the condition of the Special 1 or send a scan.
Enjoy.

QUESTION: All pages are intact, with no tears. Back page shows some slight discoloration along back edge of binding. There is a little wear on the binding. This is V.1, #1. Otherwise, the condition is very good. Firmly stapled. Would be glad to send additional views.
AnswerHi Linda
This copy does seem to be in nice shape. Based on your scan and description, I would give it a retail value between $30 and $75. I'm not able to see the wear on the binding and of course haven't seen the back cover, so I'm still hedging somewhat. It does seem like a nice copy that would get interest if you put it up on eBay.
