Question
I HAVE AN AMAZING SPIDERMAN COMIC (BRONZE AGE) IT WAS PRINTED FROM FACTORY WITH A DOUBLE COVER, I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY OTHER ERROR COMICS,MIGHT THIS BE WORTH SOMETHING. THANK-YOU

Answer

Hi Nelson

Of all the flaws that occur during the printing process, the only one that generally adds to a comic's value is to have a double cover.  There is no established premium that is paid, but collectors definitely appreciate double covers and will pay more for them.

The value of the comic will still depend on how collectible the specific issue is.  A double cover on a bronze-age Archie comic will not make it as desirable as a bronze-age Spider-man.  People selling these comics will often separately list the condition of each cover, e.g. "outside cover VG, inside cover VF."

If the comic is pretty beat-up and in low-grade, the double cover will not really have a lot of effect on the overall value.  If the comic is in higher grade, the double cover could make it worth 2 or 3 times what it would be worth without the double cover.

Enjoy.
