Question
Hi Mark. Thankyou for your time. I bought this Marvel All-colour Comics Star Wars Comic from an outdoor market in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1986. Im a huge SW fan and have held onto into for that reason all this time. I would like to know what it would be worth today. It has, on its cover, a 12p price marking on the top left hand side with a small cc symbol under the 12p. on the first page down the bottom, it reads "Vol.1, No.2, Aug, 1977 issue" amongst other things including subscription prices, a New York publisher address.  It has advertised through the comic, ads for switchblades, how to increase your height..lol....Spider Man sky heroe, Godzilla king of monsters comic ad, an ad for the very first Star Trek poster magazine: Voyage 1, a Marvel Bullpen Bulletin page and my personal favourite, a Spalding short comic on the back cover featuring Rick Barry and Dr J. So? what do you think? Thanks again, Nick.

Answer
Hi Nick,

The value of the comic will depend on what kind of shape it's in.  Based on the current guide information for that particular issue, a Good grade copy (one with lots of wear but still complete) is value at $1.  A copy in Near Mint condition (almost perfect), is valued at $25.

Hope this helps.

- Mark
