Hey, please answer as soon as possible.

When did Superman blow up a galaxy by sneezing? Was it in DC Comics that it happened? And does that make sense in accordance with the original idea of superman around 70 years ago?

Answer
It was a solar system and was a lifeless one. The sneeze was brought about by Mr. Mxyzptlk's magical sneezing powder. It happened in "Action Comics #273" (February 1961).

Superman, as originally imagined in 1938, was nowhere near as powerful as he would later become in the 1960s/1970s.
