Question
Darkseid always wants the anti life equation. Now from what I understand it forces someone to acknowledge that life is without merit or worth. However what would happen if Darkseid tried using this on a hero who follows the philosophy of Existentialism?

Answer
Sadly the whole idea of what Anti-Life does was kind of turned into 'it turns you into a bad guy' by Grant Morrisson. In theory, though, an existentialist wouldn't agree that anti-life can ever be verified, so thereby might be immune. :)

But I like the Anti-Life equation as something that, if it's spoken aloud, undoes existence, and thus is just something to keep hidden instead of something to be used. Darkseid's just being like the blackest night reaper guy. He wants to undo everything, because he's evil.
