Question
Hi
I have three Marvel Treasury Edition large size comic books that date from the late 70's. 'Spider-man vs Hulk at the Winter Olympics', 'The Astonishing Spider-Man co-starring the X-Men, and Ghost Rider, and 'Howard the Duck'. Do they have any value at all. Should I save them for my grandkids?
Thank you

Answer
Hi:

Sorry for the late answer but I was out of town.

You should be aware that the value of these books is dependant on the condition they are in.

From your list, I was only able to identify the Howard the Duck issue, which corresponds to issue #12, which value is comprised between 2$ for a book in good condition to 16$ for the same book in perfect condition.

There are several books featuring Spiderman and Hulk, and I cannot give you an estimate without the actual issue# and of course the condition of each book.

Hope this is useful.

I have been collecting comics for 20 years, mostly Marvel from the 70s and 80s. I have a pretty large collection of comics and portfolios. I am a big Fan of Walt Simonson and P Craig Russell in particular.
