Question
I have a few star wars comics. a few of them are $.35 and have a upc symbol.#7 is one of them. what would be the prices on that one, compared to ones that don't have the symbol? one of them have a spiderman head at the bottom. I have 1-107 with 3 of them missing.

Answer
Hi Amy

For Star Wars issues after #4, there is not a premium value for having a upc symbol or for having a .35 cent cover price (as there is for the first 4 issues).  .35 cents was actually the standard price after #5.

However, these comics were regularly reprinted.  Some copies with blank squares on the cover or Spider-man heads on the cover may actually be reprints, but I wouldn't be able to identify them without having the comics in hand.

Issues #7 to #20 have a guide value of from $2 to $12 depending on condition.  Issues 21 to 80 list at $1 to $10.  #91 to #106 range from $2 to $18.  #107 is pretty scarce and therefore worth more.  It lists from $6 to $65.

Of course these are all retail prices.  You would get something less if you tried to sell them to a dealer or to a collector yourself, assuming you found an interested buyer.
