Question
I have recently come across a number of old comics. Some are DC and some are Ind and some are Dell.  There are some other kinds also.

How do I go about getting them appraised?  If they are of any value I would not sell them to the appraiser.

Can you help me with this collection?

Answer
Hi Marilyn,

As far as determining the value goes, I recommend that you check out comicspriceguide.com.  This web site can be used for free for gathering information on the value of the comics.  In addition, they also offer tips on how to grade a comic since you will need to know how to do this in order to determine the value.

After you have appraised them, and if you decide to sell, there are a number of sites where you can list them with ebay, Yahoo Auctions, and iOffer.com being the 3 sites that are probably the most popular.

If you are unfamiliar with how the auction sites work or have any questions about grading, etc. after you go to comicspriceguide.com, let me know.
