hi my name is Chanucey dozier. I have 5 achers of commercial land in Claredon county S.C. along highway 521. Im looking to lease the property to a bank or a commercial real estate investor.  i would like to know who can contact to get this going?

Hello Chauncey;

Your first step would be to find out what the property is zoned for (what can you build on the property a strip center, office building, industrial warehouse, bank, retail big box, fast food ... ) by knowing this it will help you determine the value of the property you own.  

Once you have established what the zoning will allow you can then begin to analyze whom you would approach with the project.  

For example; if your property is zoned for fast food establishments you could begin to contact franchises or contact a realtor who specializes in fast food clients, you wouldn't be looking for a big box store the zoning would not allow it and you would be wasting you time pursing them.  

So to answer your question on how to begin start at the zoning office and gather as much info as you can on what can be built on your property.  From there will direct your search for whom to contact in regards to moving the process along.
