Question
Where can I find private equity funds or industry financiers to partner in an existing business.  It has $300,000 in Net Profit but is under-performing because the owner is sixty plus and is focused on other matters.  The building and  the 24 lanes are 4 years old and in a building of 34,000 square feet. It has a video arcade and restaurant and nightclub in mimimal use as well and sits on 4.2 acres of land.

Answer
I assume that you have a business plan put together for acquisition of the business and/or real estate, and the operations going forward with past revenues and projected. My suggestion if to see if your attorney or your accountant have contacts that may have an interest. Your commercial bank contacts may also have customers that would take an equity position. Advertising in the WSJ or another financial paper may work, but you will need to vet any potential investor, preferably through your attorney or accountant. Best of luck./ Peter
