Question
Hello,

I have found a piece of commercial property that I would like to purchase as an investment or for a future business.  I would like to know where I can go to acquire all the "up front" questions to be answered as part of a due diligence contract offer.  Questions like, compaction samples, set backs, and zoning to name a few.  I would like to ensure I don't miss anything.  Thanks.

John

Answer
John, if there is a broker on the deal he might have some answers. Then try the seller. Some of your answers should be part of the contract.
The due diligence the bank will do will consist of an environmental,  engineering report, and an appraisal. The lawyer will do a title search. TC
