Question QUESTION: I bought a work station Dell T3400. Set everything up the way I needed it and tested everything. Everything worked great. Moved computer 25 minutes up the highway to an expansion store and it will not boot, or takes way too long to boot. When it does boot and finally gets to a desktop screen, it will freeze and do absolutely nothing. Brought the computer back home and to home office to see what was wrong and everything works fine. Bought an APC because I suspected line voltage problems, and the computer does the same thing. The APC reads line voltage is a little whacked out. Drops down to 104v and pretty much varies between 112v and 118v. I switched to a different outlet reading 120v - 122v and the computer exhibits the same issues with and without the APC unit. Move it home or to home office and computer works fine. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.
ANSWER: In the new environment, is there anything capable of creating a lot of magnetic or radio interference, such as medical equipment, radio or telecommunication equipment, security screening equipment, various lab or research equipment, and so on?
Anything else changing when you move the machine?

QUESTION: There is a Chiropractor's office next door. The buildings are attached. No security equipment. Radio equipment is just an inventory RF scan gun that is not used in remote location. Nothing else really change when I move the equipment other than the zip code.

Answer Honestly I'm not seeing any blatant reason for the system to stop working, so either its something fairly subtle in the environment thats being missed, or I'm missing something altogether, as generally moving hardware shouldn't be an issue unless you've got it at some ridiculously low temperature or high altitude (>10,000 ft).
