Question
Does compost have any safety cautions that need to be addressed

Answer
Hello Dakota

Compost in it self, produces no safety cautions. It's what goes into the Compost that may cause an issue. If you were to Compost let's say an Old piece of Drywall. Drywall is a Gypsum based product. No harm there, as Gypsum is a natural product. BUT if that Drywall, was painted with a Lead Based paint, that would be a Caution. Also, Drywall is treated with a Fire Retardant, this too is Harmful.

So think outside of the Box here, and look at the whole picture, the Product itself may be safe, but what was done to it, may be harmful.

My Best Wishes

  Greg
