Question
I have a Compost tumbler here and My compost heats up and cools down. I used Compost maker that I bought. What is causing that? I'm curious. Should I just start over with new compost?

Answer
Hello Again Prince

This is Normal. The Balance of Browns <Carbon> and Greens <Nitrogen> is the key here. Add a few scoops of Regular Garden Soil to the Tumbler, this is your Activator. Keep the Matter Moist, but do not Soak it. When the Heat dissipates, the Compost is ready to use, if you can no longer determine, what the matter was. If the Matter still looks like it did when you started, you must reactivate it, with the Steps above. Remember to chop up whatever you are putting into the Tumbler, as well as you can, the smaller the Matter, the quicker it will Decompose.
