Hello Sridhar, please ;                                        1/what is the population the most similar genetic of the portuguese population: the kabils(berberes) of Algeria or the population of Pologne ?                                     2/what is the population the most similar genetic of the Indian population: the population of Pekin (China) or the population of Kiev (Ukraine,centale Europe)?                                3/What is the population the most similar genetic of the population of Pekin (China): the population of Thailand or the population Amerindian of USA (Indigenes Amerindiens des Etats-Unis)?                                                      4/What is the population the most similar genetic of the population of Yemen(Arab state):  the population of Pakistan or the population of Greece (Grecque). I sincerely can't don't know the exact answers for these questions but can suggest you a way.

For a definitive answer you have to contact somebody working on population studies /Anthropology..

I think for each question, a probable answer would be to check the geographical nearness of the two population choices to that of population in question. The geographically nearer population is probably similar.
