Question
Hi
First of all, thank you for taking the time to help me. My question is simple but I can't seem to answer it for myself.... :(
I've been asked to find the genomic sequence for the human CASP1 gene - but I can't find it/figure out which one it is!

I really would appreciate your help!!

Thank you in advance

Answer
Hi,

You can search for CASP1 and HUMAN on the NCBI website (Nucleotide).

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

You will probably find a reference sequence or nucleotide sequences annotated with this name.

Once you found the sequence, you can download it in FASTA format.
