Question
Hi:

Canis-rufus-floridanus is a black-coated red wolf. It is my favorite wolf. I want it back. Is there any way of bringing it back to existance using biotechnology? Is it even possible?

The following site describes something like bringing back Tasmanian Tigers from extinction:

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/asiapcf/auspac/05/28/aust.thylacines/index.ht...

Maybe the should do the same to Canis rufus floridanus.

I would like *pure* Canis rufus floridanus *wolf*, not the junk that results from wolves mating with coyotes.

Once again, my favorite animal is a *pure Canis rufus floridanus wolf*. It is a black-coated red-wolf. I like black red wolves.

There is a total BS myth claiming that red wolf is a cross between grey wolf and coyote. Nothing could be more wrong than that myth. The red-wolf is a species of its own.

Any assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Green

Answer
Hi Green,

First of all I must say that I am not competent to provide you with answer for this. But conceptually, I can say that, bringing back Canis-rufus-floridanus to life can be possible, if not impossible.
But I request you to ask an expert in cloning to get a first hand information about your concern.
