Hi, my name is Ayana and I am working on my senior exit project, which is a requirement to graduate, and I was wondering if you had any insite or you know any on who does on my suject: How does the introduction of forensic science exonerate individuals who are wrongfully accused, i would most like to touch on the wrongfully accused? my focus is finding information that deals with cases of the wronfully accused and wrongfuly imprisoned. looks like you are working on a really interesting area ! it is indeed possible to use bio tools and techniqeus to identify the wrogfuly accused/imprisoned. this is a vast area and i suggest that you do some reading up on the net. while u do  so u will surely come across people who work on this area of using bio tools for criminal investigation.

I have a broad knowledge in subjects like applied bioinformatics (for example, pathogenomics, computer aided drug design etc)(but not the computational aspects like algorithms, data mining etc), genetic engineering, genomics, molecular therapeutics, drug design and discovery, immunology, cancer and hiv biology,genomics and proteomics. i will be happy to answer fundamental queries in these areas.

Experience

I am graduating in fall 2006, and hoping to work towards a PhD in life sciences/bioinformatics/pharmaceutical sciences. i have about 16 technical oral/poster presentations to my credit. i am the co-author of 7 papers which have been published. (while some of my manuscripts are still being reviewed). i am pretty confiedent about answering queries as i have taken core courses in more than 50 subjects relating to life sciences.
