Question
hello... i want to do go for a career in Computers. so i am planning to do Bsc IT (3 years) from Indian University and later do A+, N+, CCNA, CCNP so i want to ask is it good to go for A+, N+, CCNA, CCNP Certifications with my Bsc  IT or Do I only go for certificates and can i get good job with good salary with only certifications or doing BSc is an advantage?

Answer
This is a difficult question to answer, because it would entirely depend on what your career aspirations are going to be post-graduation.  if you're going into programming or design, then these certs wouldn't make much sense.  However, if you're going into network engineering, then yes, N+, CCNA, CCNP (as well as JNCIS/JNCIP) would be good to have, as they show that you know the theory and usage of Cisco and Juniper routers.

the A+ cert is a good place to start, but it applies to computer hardware and software.
