Question
Hi,
I'm wondering if I could copy/take a content or specific information from some dating site in the USA and put to my own dating site database? The content is what the members of that site wrote, for example their profile etc.
Is it legal?
Thank you for all answers!

Regards,
Thomas.

Answer
Generally, any content or information you copy from another website would constitute copyright infringement.  Damages for copyright infringement are not insubstantial, especially if the copyright is registered.

Moreover, doing so may violate that website's terms of use, which could expose you potential damages for breach of contract.
