Computer Law/Internet Business and valuable domain

Question
I entered an agreement with a company to develop a website business a few years back.  In return for their development skills, I was to split the ownership of a very valuable, one word domain.  Since then, I have added thousands of dollars to the "pot" and we still do not have a working site.  At this point, I just want full ownership of my domain and to walk away.  I have complete control over the domain at this point.  They can keep all the technology that the have "developed" and website content, I just want to walk with my domain.  Any help or ideas here would be appreciated.

Answer
Mark,

Was the agreement you had a written one?  If so, and assuming the other company is amenable and there are no other terms in the agreement that might preclude this, you'd want to create a written amendment to the existing agreement containing the terms you've described.

Ultimately, I would need to see the agreement to fully advise you of all of your options.
