Question
i work in a medical lab and was required to participate in a phone conference call tonight with corporate compliance. they were in posession of a personal email sent from my home computer to my best friend. it assured her that a "one night stand" was hiv free. information i obtained from questioning his best friend and my boyfriend at the time. from the questions corporate asked me it is obvious that this email came from my exhusband and/or his girlfriend, both of whom have made it a priority to ruin me and get custody of my children. i am on the brink of losing my job over this. prior to this i noticed my match and myspace accounts had been altered to say very sick things. i chalked it up to my kids getting into them even though they adamantly denied it. what can i do? i live and am employed in ct. please help, my life is about to be ruined!

Answer
Hi Lisa,

I am sorry these things are happening to you. If you think that anyopne has gained unauthorized access to your accounts, you need to contact these people:

http://www.ct.gov/dps/cwp/view.asp?a=2155&Q=294432&dpsNAV_GID=1671&dpsNav=

They can and will investigate these types of crimes. I know I teach Computer Crime almost every year at the CT state police academy.
