Question
I have a myspace acct (that I keep private). Since meeting my b/f in 2007 his EX-wife & her sister have continually wrote blogs (where they not only mention me by name but also publish my myspace acct url) as well as sent me e-mails (both to my myspace acct & personal e-mail address) I have both ignored & responded. When I ignore them I just get more e-mails, when I respond I ALWAYS tell them to not contact me,leave me alone,etc. to no avail. Recently, his ex wife called the PA state police (I love in another state) & made a complaint that I have been "harassing" HER! In August of 2007 I contacted PA State police and was told there was nothing they could do to help me. But since she has made a complaint I am told I should be awaiting a call from the state police in PA. What are MY rights? I have copies of EVERY e-mail,blog,etc. that have been sent back & forth to prove that I have requested they STOP contacting me. What are my rights & how do I put a stop (legally) to them contacting me without changing my personal e-mail address and getting rid of my acct?

Answer
Although it may not be the most convenient thing to do, changing your Myspace and email accounts is probably the most effective way to prevent the messages.  Await the call from the police, and respond with the information you have to defend yourself.  Your other option would be to file civil charges against these individuals, however it is not an easy or cheap endeavor.
