Computer Law/I think my employer hacked into my personal home desktop...

I alternately work from home on my personal desk top remoting into my work desk top to access company software applications to do my job.  A couple of weeks ago my personal email account that I do not access while at work or while I am remoting from home was comprimised and I was locked out of my own personal email account for 3 days. Furthermore my Linked-In account (website used to network) displayed some personal email addresses that are not part of my job or employer's. How do I find out and ultimately prove my employer hacked into my personal desk top at my home and my personal email address not utilized at work ?

There are forensic computer experts you can hire that can assist with making these types of determinations, but bear in mind that the process may not be easy or inexpensive.  You should also consider what your ultimate goal is (if your employer did gain such access, what would you do then?).  Obtaining damages based upon the situation you described may not be possible.
