Question
Hi! My name is Kyquan, and I was just wondering what is the difference between Computer Information Systems and Computer and Information Systems Managers. Are they the same, do they have any similarities, differences, and do you receive the same kind of degree

Answer
Kyquan:

SAME with the exception that in a MANAGEMENT role you learn more about leadership type positions instead of the details of how computers works.  There are basically two paths in Computer Information Systems career: One path is a MANAGEMENT path and the other role is a supporting role to a manager such as a Technical lead: Both have degrees in CIS but one degree is heavy in leadership and managmenet courses then the other.

Kind Regards,
Jeff
