Computer Security & Viruses/Monitor

Question
I asked a question about my monitor powering off sometimes on it's own recently. I found out that if I attempt to adjust it by pushing the top of the monitor back, it will immediately go off.If I readjust it by pulling it forward, the power comes back on. Do you think I could do anything to fix this? This monitor is still under warranty. Thanks very much!

Answer
Hi Jaye

It sounds like there is a loose connection to the power supply.  By taking the monitor apart and attempting to fix it yourself, you will void the warranty.  Contact the manufacturer for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  They should fix it or replace it with another monitor.  Good luck.
