hi Brian - had 2 start a new q cos 2 many follow ups it says! thx 4 help 2 date, unfortunately problem not solved - it definately says WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\shdoclc.dll/http_500.htm.....
but that is just on web pages - i do not think it is web related - its 2 do with the modem maybe, cos Outlook Express will not receive messages either, even when i have reconnected the isp - i think a disconnection somehow closes the ports or something and will not allow a reconnect? hope u may have time 4 some more ideas? thanks in advance

Hi Darren

Could you please post me a new HJT log?  I don't have one after the ComboFix scan.  I want to totally rule out malware as the cause.  Before you send me the new log, run an online scan here:
http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/
Send me the results and the HJT log.
