QUESTION: I get a popup every time I start my computer that says hidserv error - will create an error log...in addition, I cannot download games from shockwave.com any more and have tried unsuccessfully to re-download Flash Player etc...not sure how to fix my computer! Below is my Hijack log

You do have some malware installed and running, including a trojan and adware.  Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop from here:
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe
Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
      o Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      o and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
* then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.  Copy and paste that log in a follow-up here along with a new HJT log.

Hi Karyl

Download http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip then unzip it to the desktop.

Restart your computer into safe mode now. (Tapping F8 at the first black screen) Perform the following steps in safe mode:

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Now put a tick by Standard File Kill. In the "Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste  the following line, then click on the button that has the red circle with the X in the middle. It will ask for confirmation to delete the file. Click Yes.

C:\WINNT\System32\intersvc.exe


Next, click START –> RUN –> type in %temp% click OK, then Edit –> Select all –> File –> Delete

Delete everything in the C:\WINNT\temp folder

Not all temp files will delete and that is normal.
Empty the recycle bin.
Now reboot and post a new hijack log from normal mode.
