My aunts Laptop has been infected with WindowsAntivirus 2008 Trogan. How do we remove it?

2. You can remove it manually via the instructions or you can download and install a free edition of one of the following:

  a) http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

  b) Spyware Doctor:
     http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/google_pack/ or,
     http://pack.google.com/intl/en/pack_installer.html

  c) Windows Defender: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products /winfamily/defender/default.mspx

  d) AVG Anti-Spyware

If you prefer, there are paid versions that can also remove it and give you real-time protection as well.

At the same time (or once it's removed) consider other reputable anti-spyware applications for an additional security layer.
