QUESTION: I searched your website and found a question that someone else posted, that is actually the same problem we are having.  We followed your instructions, but our computer still won't load past the blue windows XP screen.  It just reboots over and over again. Below is the problem we are having.  

My computer became infected with several viruses/Trojans and was acting very slow.  I downloaded Kaspersky and ran the Antivirus software.  It identified several threats and either quarantined or deleted the files.  It said that a reboot was necessary, however, when it attempted a reboot, it now will not go past the blue windows xp screen. I can only run my computer in safe mode. Please help.  Thank you.

ANSWER: Hi Gene

I will do my best to get you back up and running.  I need to find out what we are dealing with.  Please start the computer in Safe Mode With Networking.  Download HijackThis to your desktop from here:
http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/_download/HJTInstall.exe
Make sure you close EVERY open window and ALL browser windows. The only thing that should be open is the HijackThis program.
Double-click on the file you just downloaded.
Click on the "Install" button.
Upon install, HijackThis should open for you.
Should it not open, go to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis and double click on HijackThis.exe
Choose 'Do a system scan and save a log file'.
Copy the text file which opens in Notepad and paste it in your your follow-up to me.
   * Do not fix any entries in HijackThis, as they may be harmless.

Please clarify: "after we did what you had told someone else to do, it won't start in safe mode or safe mode with networking."
I'm not sure what you mean by you did what I told someone else to do.  Also, please tell me if you are able to boot at all, or are receiving errors.  Thanks.
