hello,
when i start my computer i have the message, windows could not find the file c:windows\config\sevcst.exe. now it is not shutting down, nor was I able to find the designated file. I have the avg free antivirus and I am updating it regularly.
can you please advise me on what to do to eliminate the above mentioned warning.

Hi Jad,
What AntiVirus are you using?
Sounds like the Katrina Virus.
There is a previous post here that dealt with your problem.
Go here and follow the instructions at the bottom.
You will be dnloading the SmitFraudFix program and booting into safe mode.
Just follow Brians advice to step 10.
Let me know how it turns out.

PS, if this is too much trouble you can head over to a good help Forum like MajorGeeks.com
Register and dnload the "Hijack This" program and run it.
Save the log file and upload it to the Malware section of the Forum.
They are great people there and will help you get your puter cleaned.
