Hello!
I have a problem with my computer. Every time I press Ctrl+Alt+del I get this message "Task manager has been disabled by your administrator". I tried all the suggestions I found on the internet, but nothing works and I found out that I get the same error message for registry editing. ALso, I cant scan my computer. I had bitdifender antivirus, but it doesnt work anymore and I cant even unistall it. I have reinstalled Windows XP and tried to install Symantec Antivurs - still doesnt work and I still get the same erorrs. What can I do. Please help me
Thank you

Answer
Hi Alexandra,

Did you try this fix from PCHell?

http://www.pchell.com/support/taskmanagerdisabled.shtml

If you have tried the above, I would suggest doing a clean install of Windows. The following site explains how:

Hope this helps!

I can answer most questions regarding viruses/Trojans and help to remove them.

Experience

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
