Question
HiMr.Benosky.An Attack on my computer has cause my sound and Wi-Fi to become disable.I was shown how to delect the files,I was told I need new driver to my sound and wire to work. My guarantee is up on my HP laptop windows XP home.I have no idea what a driver is or how to install.I did try system restore and reinstall recovery. Thanks in advance Bernald

Hi Bernard

Let's first look to see if the trojan is gone completely.  It wouldn't do to reinstall something that will become infected right away.  Follow the procedure below so that I may check your computer for any infection.  

Please download TrendMicro HijackThis! from the following link:
http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exe
* Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
* Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
* By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
* Click on Install.
* It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
* Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
* Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
* Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" and Paste the entire contents of the log (no attachments) into a follow-up here.
