how to update my antivirus that is pc-cillin security if i dont have internet connection?

My name is Brian, and I will answer your question taken from the AllExperts question pool. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do what you are asking. Every anti-malware program needs to be connected in order to download new virus definitions. With as many as a dozen or more virus variants being released daily, your software needs to constantly update to keep up with virus signatures. Even if you only have a dial-up account through the phone line from the local internet provider, that will be all you need. On the other hand, if you never connect to the internet, the only way for your computer to get a virus would be from a program which you installed from a CD or a floppy disk. In that case, virus updates are less important, but you should purchase new anti-virus software at least once or twice a year to stay fairly current. I hope I have helped you today.
