hi
i have a problem. the desktop of my computer is blue...and it says warning:spyware threat has been detected. and i keep getting popups for me to download spymaxx which i googled and found its a rouge spyware thing. i really dont know what to do. i have windows xp. and everytime i try to change the background it changes then a minute later it changes back to the blue one. please please help!!

You do have a spyware infection. Don't download anything you see in an advertisement. Instead, go to free.grisoft.com and download AVG Free Edition and then to lavasoft.com and download Ad Aware. The fact of the matter is, your computer is probably very seriously infected - and I would suggest wiping it entirely and reinstalling the operating system.
