Question
Hi Brian thank you for your reply to my double click question. I have followed your advise but my pc is still very slow. when i download a programme in firefox i get the message download complete but the download box remains blank. I have reinstalled firefox but the problem is still there. please see my attached hijack log

Hi Desmond

There are some programs on your computer which are considered "questionable" according to some malware sites.  I would open up your Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove the following (note that not all may be listed):

Spotmau WinCares 2007
FolderProtectService
Crawler Toolbar
Burn4Free Toolbar
Burn4Free

After uninstalling, reboot, then download CCleaner from here:
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim
Run the program to clean out temp files and other junk.

Finally, download install then run Auslogics Disk Defrag from here:
http://www.auslogics.com/en/downloads/disk-defrag/disk-defrag-setup.exe

After that, post me a fresh HJT log and let me know if the computer is running faster.
