Question
Dear Brian,

My computer crashed earlier tonight and I was on the phone with DELL for over 3 hours getting it back to normal.  However, I lost a great deal of information.

I have no idea what happend, I guess a virus attacked my computer.  

Where is the best place for me to go on the web for free Viruse Protection (For Right Now).

What programs do you use and should I buy a program?

I'm sorry to hear about your virus troubles.  The best free virus program is Avast! Home.  I use Avast, alongside SuperAntiSpyware Free and Comodo Firewall.  See the links at the bottom of this page.  There are many good free programs out there to suit your needs.  Please look at Freeware Replacements For Common Commercial Apps here:
