Question
I have a belkin wireless G plus wireless router.  Is there a way to keep other people from using my connection.  I am wondering if my neighbors are using my comcast dsl connection.  I can't find any information and the Belkin support is a maize. Thanks for your time.  I'm an expert too...in another field.

Answer
Your router can provide you with a secure connection because it includes the option to use the 802.11g standard, one that nobody can snoop on or use without your authorization -- but only if your computer's wireless connector is also able to use this standard, and only if you set up a password on your router.

If your computer doesn't allow you to use 802.11g compatible password technique, you can add a wireless card or USB adapter to your computer that is able to operate in this mode. Belkin sells these on their web catalog, but any 802.11g compatible adapter should solve this problem.
