Dear Lorry,
my laptop was infected by Trojans and the task manager was not working from 2-3 months but now i have got my system formatted and now i have the same problem with my US and other accessories.What to do for this am really worried because all my backup is in my US.It will be great if U can help me in this.
Hi Kuriakose,
Did you run a virus scan on the USB accessories, for example the external hard drive? Am assuming that you have an anti-virus program installed, set it so that it scans the USB accessories. If there are any threats found, remove them as you wold if they were on the hard drive.

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
