About Lorry
Expertise
I can answer most questions regarding viruses/Trojans and help to remove them.

Experience
This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.

You only need the Zone Alarm Pro as that is a firewall, anti-virus, and antispwyare program.

QUESTION:
thanks a lot for your answer

that's helpful

just wondering what would happen if i used 2 programs?
zonealarm pro and spyware doctor?
would this provide extra security? or would the 2 programs crash or sth like that?

thanks

Answer
Hi John,

You really shouldn't need to run both at the same time. You might want to run a scan with Spyware Doctor every two weeks or so, to verify there is nothing on the PC.

The main thing is to have an anti-virus program that is up to date and run a virus scan once a week, a spyware program to check for spyware periodically, and a firewall program.

Hope this helps!
Lorry
