currently i have the following software to protect my computer
zonealarm pro (firewall)
spyware doctor
the shield deluxe 2008
but i think im using too many softwares
and sometimes i get inundated with warnings from these
softwares
can you recommend me which softwares i should use
to have my computer protected? (not too many, just what is needed)

Are you using XP?
OK, ZoneAlarm is a great Firewall, what kind of warnings do you get?
Spyware Doc, another great product for Spyware, any warnings from it?
The Shield, you've got good taste, yet another great product.
So you've got double Spyware protection from Spyware Doc and the Shield.
That may be why you are getting more warnings than usual.
Let me know what warnings you are getting.
The Shield is a "all-in-one" product like BitDefender, which is what I use.
Im thinking you may not need Spyware Doc and ZoneAlarm.
