WILL THE FREE TRIAL OF ZONE ALARM ALSO DESTROY THE SPYWARE
ONCE IT NOTIFIES YOU IT IS IN YOUR SYSTEM AS WELL AS KAPERSKY   YOU MEAN AS SOON AS YOU OPEN UP A PROGRAM  THAT HAS SPYWHERE IN IT IT POPS UP A WARNING RIGHT AWAY

Answer
The free Zone Alarm will stop adware and spyware, too. The advantage of the paid product is that you can set your own levels of security and whether you want it to pop up a warning the instant something attacks, even if it is a low threat. I've set mine to only pop up when I need to make a decision about whether to let something happen or not.

Whenever a new or changed program tries to access the Internet or another program on your computer, Zone Alarm pops up a warning asking if you want this program to do this thing. It will usually advise you on whether you should allow it or not.

However, if an adware or spyware program is a low threat, Zone Alarm doesn't immediately alert you. It will later pop up something telling you what programs it removed and tell you they were a low threat.

I haven't used Kapersky myself so I can't answer that part of your question. However, it along with F-Secure are the two most widely used security suites world wide, and score really high on tests against other products. They don't advertise in the U.S. which is why so few people know about hem here.
