Question Hello, I have a question. I just want to know if deleting this will ruin my computer: C:\Acer\Empowering
Technology\eDataSecurity\eDSloader.exe. Becuase once Threatfire said it did a really high risk activity similar to trojans and so I just quarantine and deleted it from the Threatfire popup. Now when I run CCleaner, it says that I'm missing a startup program or something and it says this. So I'm worried that I might have done something wrong. If it's no problem than I'm all good. Now whether or not there actually is anything, I'm not actually sure. My other programs didn't detect anything: Avast!, Spybot, Windows Defender, or Commodo Firewall Pro. My question is just whether deleting C:\Acer\Empowering Technology\eDataSecurity\eDSloader.exe is a bad thing or not. Thanks for any help.
Answer Hi Henry,
Visit this link at the processlibrary site to see my recommendation.
I would not delete or move it.
You can believe what CCleaner is telling you, its a great program, kudos for using it.
Also keep in mind that running more than one Anti Virus or anti Spyware at a time can cause conflicting messages, and disrupt operations.
Hope this helps.
